Job Description

Hardware design engineering role focused on PCB development, Mentor Graphics tools, digital, analog, and RF circuit design, aerospace electronics, and board-level testing. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field 10+ years of hardware design experience 10+ years of PCB development experience Mentor Graphics PADS experience Mentor Graphics DxDesigner experience Digital circuit development experience Analog circuit development experience RF circuit development experience Experience with RF test setups Experience using spectrum analyzers Experience using network analyzers Experience designing electronics for aerospace, defense, or aviation applications Preferred Skills Experience with complex multi-layer PCB layouts Experience designing electronics for harsh aerospace environments Experience with signal integrity requirements Experience with environmental ruggedness requirements Experience leading design reviews Experience mentoring junior engineers Experience with aerospace hardware safety standards Experience with board bring-up and troubleshooting Job Responsibilities Lead complex multi-layer schematic capture using Mentor Graphics DxDesigner Lead complex PCB layouts using Mentor Graphics PADS Design digital, analog, and high-frequency RF circuits Develop circuit architectures optimized for harsh aerospace environments Perform hands-on device testing Support board bring-up and troubleshooting Use spectrum analyzers and network analyzers during RF testing Lead hardware design reviews Mentor junior engineers on hardware design practices Ensure hardware designs follow engineering standards Verify hardware designs meet aerospace safety, signal integrity, and environmental ruggedness requirements
