If you thrive in fast-paced environments where your engineering expertise directly shapes next‑generation products—this role is for you. 🚀 What You'll Do As a key contributor on our engineering team, you will: ✨ Transform system specifications into actionable test requirements Break down technical documents and translate them into robust testing strategies. ✨ Develop advanced test software & troubleshoot PCBs Bring circuits to life, identify issues quickly, and validate performance with precision. ✨ Design cable harnesses and onboard electrical schematics Own end‑to‑end electrical development for system integration and performance. ✨ Act as the primary technical liaison Collaborate closely with the Onboard Lead, Work Package Leader, and Mechanical Engineering team throughout the full project lifecycle. ✨ Be a problem solver & technical leader Your expertise helps drive decisions and ensures smooth cross-functional engineering alignment. 🔧 Your Core Skill Set We're looking for someone who brings strength in: ✅ System engineering ✅ Test development ✅ Requirements analysis ✅ PCB troubleshooting & validation Top engineers in this role are highly analytical, solutions-oriented, and thrive in multi-disciplinary environments. 🎯 What You Bring ✅ 3-5+ years as a Hardware or Electronics Engineer ✅ Hands-on experience designing, debugging & testing PCBs ✅ Strong capability in electronic schematic creation ✅ Cable harness design + mechanical rack integration experience ✅ Proven ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware issues ✅ Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset ✅ Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver ✅ Ability to contribute throughout requirements, design, implementation & verification phases Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
