Job Description
What you'll do Help us set up and maintain a small lab of Mac computers and iPhones used for our internal operations.
Day-to-day:
Set up Mac Minis and connect them to iPhones via USB hubs Troubleshoot hardware issues — phones that freeze, cables that fail, hubs that act up Install and update software, swap SIM cards, manage Apple IDs Run basic commands from a terminal following written instructions Notice when something is broken and fix it (or flag it to our lead engineer) You'll work directly with our lead engineer (remote). She writes the instructions, you execute on the hardware. You need to be Local to Tucson and able to be on-site weekly Comfortable with Macs and iPhones (settings, restores, Apple IDs, software updates) Comfortable in a terminal (SSH and basic commands — you don't need to write code) Reliable. Showing up on the days we agree on is the whole job. OK working in a small, scrappy startup environment Bonus if you've done any of: Xcode signing, iOS development, mobile QA, Mac Mini sysadmin, multi-SIM/mobile networking, homelab/Raspberry Pi tinkering.
