Job Description

You will report directly to our Sr Engineering Manager and you'll work at our Plymouth, MN location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact by shaping the future of Honeywell's semiconductor technology, contributing to solutions that address some of the world's most pressing challenges.   • Execute RTO responsibilities for site ISC and Quality contract reviews. "RTO" = Requirements Translation Organization; refers to mapping customer contract flow-downs to Honeywell standards for IC manufacturing and flagging and addressing issues before finishing final contracts.
  • Act as JEDEC Aerospace Microelectronics representative and liaison for committee underlying

  • Customer Source Control Drawing (SCD) review support and guidance
  • New Product and Technology Quality and Reliability IC development support coach
  • Assist/Support/Lead QML requirements for IC products and technology. Interface with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Host on-site DLA audits, actively engage and ensure high-quality preparation to ensure passing audits. Work RCCA for any audit findings. Submit annual TRB report and review/approve SMD updates.
  • Support Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP) efforts, as required
  • Provide leadership inputs and compliance oversight inputs for Honeywell Aerospace-Plymouth Technology Review Board activities to align to DLA requirements
  • Foster the implementation/maintenance of standards, processes, and tools for TRB abd RTO processes. Act as a thought leader on Aero-Plymouth Technology Review Board and relationships of site-specific quality needs and their mapping (non-interference, supplementary) to Aerospace quality system requirements.
  • YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer or Aerospace Engineering
  • US Security clearance in good standing, or no known barriers to attain one
  • Willingness and ability to work on-site (Hybrid, 3+) at the Honeywell Plymouth, MN facility (zip code 55441)
  • Minimum of 5 years of technical leadership experience
  • WE VALUE
  • Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry with at least 5 years of experience amongst o Semiconductor wafer process and Integrated Circuit (IC) assembly processes o IC package design and package technology o IC screening objectives and methods
  • Expertise on MIL-PRF 38535, ISO and AS9100 for IC topics.
  • Knowledgeable on IC reliability physics of failure and corresponding design and screening methods, and criteria, to ensure warranted part performance
  • High capability level to present, discuss and defend Honeywell methods for quality and reliability assurance for demanding and sophisticated USG customer base personnel engaged in Space and Missile microelectronics for US rad hard industrial base.
  • Ability to clearly convey complex topics "right sized" to a highly heterogeneous external audience set spanning CTOs, quality engineers, reliability engineers, component engineers, program managers, project leads, procurement leads.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in overseeing and coaching entry to senior level professionals
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balance systematic analyses with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity and uncertainty
  • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, to consistently take the initiative to get things done
