Job Description

Job Title:
PCB Designer Job Description The PCB Designer will be responsible for designing and performing layout of digital and analog PCB Boards. This role involves the creation and maintenance of design documentation, as well as collaboration within a team environment. Responsibilities Perform PCB component placement, routing, and design release documentation for Printed Circuit Boards. Design component footprints and symbols for the Master Component Library. Maintain PCB design engineering processes. Evaluate the quality of schematic designs and support schematic capture for conversion to layout. Conduct design reviews and release design documentation. Essential Skills Knowledge of board design. Experience with Altium, CADSTAR, and
ECADSTAR.
Layer experience ranging from 6 to 30 layers. Willingness to learn and collaborate effectively as a team player. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Design or a related field. PWB design certification preferred. Experience with schematic capture tools and PWB design tools. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and component data sheets. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Eligibility to obtain a DOD Government security clearance. Work Environment The work site is located in Newtown, PA. Candidates need to be local enough to come on-site as needed. The facility focuses on flight test instrumentation, involving work with various sensors and data acquisition products. The environment is dynamic, engaging with commercial and military data recording, and expanding into areas like battery-powered air vehicles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newtown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $67.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
