CP2S is committed to adapting to each client's needs and delivering high-quality, tailored services. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Software Test Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time remote role based in VA, MD, DC or NC with occasional travel to DC required. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring a software product (system or application) meets the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance required for release. Primary Responsibilities Responsible for designing and implementing test plans to improve the usability of products. The QA tester works with the development team to debug code, correct errors, and troubleshoot any issues with software code. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers. Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability. Incorporate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards. Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates. Monitor bug resolution efforts and track success.
Qualifications Essential:

Essential:
minimum 3 years experience AWS Certified Machine Learning Certification is desirable. Strong Software Test Engineering skills. Proven Experience with AWS. Proven Experience working in secure or regulated environments (e.g., government or defense) is desirable. Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams, and clear written and verbal communication. Bachelor's degree in IT from an accredited institution is desirable. Ability and willingness to travel to DC for occasional work on-site to support projects for government and high-security clients as needed.
