Job Description

onsemi's Analog Mixed Signal Group is hiring an experienced Analog IC design engineer to help us develop next generation Self Protected High Side Driver ICs. These unique products are high power, low RDSon Smart Driver products used in automotive and industrial applications. The successful candidate will participate in the design of these high demand, complex High Side Drivers. Some familiarity with analog blocks such as charge pumps, gate control, over current detection, Open Load detection, Thermal sensing, high accuracy voltage and current references and load current sensing. Some understanding of integrated circuit design with an emphasis in High Power High Side MOS FET design. Knowledge of analog mixed-signal concepts such as device mismatch mitigation and layout parasitic elements. Knowledge of semiconductor device physics, including PN-junction diodes, BiPolar Parasitics and MOS transistors BS EE with 0-3 years of experience Experience with industry standard IC design software (Cadence, Mentor Graphics, etc.). Some knowledge with behavioral top-level modeling and mixed signal verification methodology. Ability to collaboratively work within a cross-functional and global team. Excellent written and verbal communications skills Drive development and verification of High Power Low Rdson High Side Driver ICs Collaboratively work within a cross-functional and global team. Excellent written and verbal communications skills Work diligently with the analog team to accomplish project goals and meet schedule requirements. Verification, documentation and post-silicon validation. Hands-on lab environment working with sensitive measurement equipment and data acquisition Debugging ability in circuit operation, and device function
