Job Description

Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer Memphis, TN (onsite) $120,000 - $150,000 + Full Benefits Relocation Assistance Available Auto-Chlor has been a leader in the commercial food service industry for over 85 years. We're investing in the future of our equipment through IoT-enabled technology and product innovation, and this role will play a key part in that evolution. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on electrical systems, circuitry, and product integration within a manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing Serve as the technical liaison between internal teams and a 3rd-party IoT development partner Oversee integration of electronic components into commercial equipment Support product development from prototype through manufacturing Evaluate electrical schematics, circuitry, and system performance Partner with Mechanical Engineering on sensor and system integration Ensure equipment performs reliably in real-world conditions (water, electrical, industrial use) Support regulatory compliance (UL, NSF, CSA, etc.) and maintain technical documentation Provide technical guidance to internal teams and field operations What We're Looking For Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree or comparable years of work experience. 5-10 years of electrical and electronic design experience, along with experience working with regulatory agencies. Experience in the commercial appliance industry is preferred. Embedded Software/hardware design Knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing, sanitation, electrical, and building (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA) Electrical/electronic circuit design CAD Modeling - Autodesk Inventor Preferred What's in It for You Competitive salary Relocation support Full benefits package:
