We work across global teams to build the tools and infrastructure that keep Micron's innovation engine running strong. In this role, you'll join our CAD engineering team to support and enhance the software and workflows that power next‑generation memory design. You'll work closely with engineers around the world, ensuring our CAD environments stay efficient, reliable, and ready for the challenges of cutting‑edge development. This role could be E4, E5 or MTS level.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate CAD software changes with global CAD teams
  • Support design, product, and process engineers using CAD tools and flows
  • Maintain and improve CAD infrastructure including Methodics, Perforce, Jenkins, Virtuoso, web servers, and internal applications
  • Develop tools and flows for design setup, circuit design, verification, performance optimization, and tapeout
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Microelectronics, or related field or 2+ years of experience in CAD engineering or a directly related occupation
  • Experience implementing and supporting CAD software projects
  • 4+ years of experience with EDA/CAD tools from vendors like Cadence or Synopsys.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MS or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering
