Electrical Design Engineer
- (PCB Layout, Power Electronics & Embedded Systems) At a glance

U.S. work authorization required — no sponsorship Why this opportunity is worth a conversation This is a small, privately held manufacturer experiencing steady year-over-year growth, designing and producing highly engineered electronic products used in demanding applications. The environment offers strong exposure to real engineering challenges without the layers of a large organization. Engineers here work across the full product lifecycle — from concept and PCB layout through prototype, testing, and production. You'll have direct visibility to leadership, the ability to influence design decisions, and the opportunity to work on multiple projects simultaneously rather than being siloed into one narrow function. If you enjoy hands-on design work, variety in projects, and an environment where your contributions are visible and impactful, this is worth exploring. What you will be doing Designing and laying out PCBs from concept through production release Developing power supply designs (analog and mixed-signal) Creating electrical schematics, specifications, and BOMs Supporting prototype builds, testing, and manufacturing startup Contributing to technical documentation and project deliverables Performing reliability analysis and supporting quality processes Managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities What we are looking for Hands-on PCB layout and circuit design experience (core requirement) Experience with power supply design (analog and/or mixed-signal) Ability to read and create electrical schematics and documentation Experience working in a regulated or quality-driven manufacturing environment Strong organizational and multitasking ability Self-directed, able to operate independently Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred 10+ years of relevant experience considered in lieu of degree Strong pluses (not required) Simulation tools (PSpice or similar) Mechanical integration exposure (SolidWorks or similar) Embedded or firmware familiarity Experience in highly regulated or performance-critical industries Please apply on Indeed or at impactsolutions.com/opportunities where you can see and apply for any of our open positions. #LI-JK1 Electrical Design Engineer- (PCB Layout, Power Electronics & Embedded Systems) Brownsville, WI Up to $100,000 a year
