Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware & Rigging Specialist to join our team. This role involves the design, installation, and maintenance of complex hardware systems with a focus on precision and safety. The ideal candidate will have a team attitude, be extremely motivated, quick learning and possess excellent technical expertise in harware and building to collaborate in an innovative environment. The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge marine technology and high performance sailing hardware. Duties Assemble a wide range of mechanical and structural components in the hull and deck of high end racing sailboats. Perform light plumbing, caulking, and sealing to ensure leak free and clean installation Route and install wire harnesses, hoses, rope systems with accuracy and high end craftsmanship Operate heaven duty equipment, including hoists and over head cranes Interpret blueprints, plane and diagrams to build components to designed specifications. Install, calibrate, and maintain hardware systems ensuring optimal performance Document procedures, configurations, and modifications for future reference Requirements Proven experience in hardware engineering, rigging, or related technical fields Strong craftsmanship skills and building techinques. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications Experience working with complex mechanical and electronic systems Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Relevant certifications or training in rigging or hardware installation is a plus This position is integral to the finish of our high end and technical performanc line and supporting innovative projects. $19.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
