Denver, CO Position Overview Based in Denver, CO, we're a leading fire life & safety contractor with a strong track record and excellent reputation. Our office has shown tremendous growth over the last 5-6 years, and we've got a high-performing design team of around 10-15 people. We pride ourselves on taking care of our customers & employees and driving a strong team dynamic. Currently, we're seeking a Senior Designer who can lead our design efforts. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of fire sprinkler systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Ensure all designs adhere to NFPA standards and local building codes. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to integrate fire protection systems into overall building designs. Conduct hydraulic calculations and system analyses to ensure effective fire protection solutions. Review and approve design drawings and specifications before submission to clients and regulatory authorities. Provide technical support and guidance to junior designers and project team members. Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in fire sprinkler design and safety. Prepare project documentation, including design reports, specifications, and compliance certifications. Qualifications 4+ years fire sprinkler design and engineering experience Active NICET 3, 4 or a Fire Protection Engineering License Proven leadership experience Proficient in NFPA code knowledge (13, 13D, 13R, 14, 20, 25 and associated Codes/Standards) Experience with design software such as HydraCAD, SprinkCAD, AutoSPRINK, and Revit Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits Heath, Dental, Vision plans Long Term and Short Term Disability HSA and FSA Plans Life Insurance Vacation days 401K with match Discretionary Bonus Structure Work on high-profile projects Additional Fire Protection roles are available in over 30 states for Designers, Project Managers, Foremen, Superintendents, Technicians, Inspectors, Estimators, Service Sales, Contract Sales, Service Managers, Design Managers and Executive Leaders.
