•Senior EHS Analyst Lake Charles, LA | On-Site | <10% Travel Overview Our client is a small, specialty chemical manufacturer with deep roots in the Gulf Coast region searching for a Senior EHS Analyst to join our team in Lake Charles, LA. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, implementing, and supervising environmental, health, and safety activities while strengthening overall site performance. You will ensure compliance with national, state, and local regulations — and play an active role in building a culture where safety comes first. Key Responsibilities Manage air, wastewater, and hazardous waste programs to ensure environmental compliance and cost control. Support Life Safety programs including Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work, and Confined Space; identify hazardous conditions and document job hazard/risk analyses. Champion a safety-first culture by promoting awareness of health, safety, environmental, and security issues at all levels of the organization. Develop and deliver training, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations. Prepare and maintain required permits, records, and reports in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines on a timely basis. Partner with Plant Operations and Maintenance on process troubleshooting, project reviews, management of change, PHA, PSSR, and incident investigations. Maintain and update emergency response plans, training, and equipment to ensure operational readiness and employee protection. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in an industrial or chemical manufacturing environment 3-5+ years of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance experience B.S. in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a closely related fieldREQUIRED
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is a plus Strong working knowledge of federal and state EHS laws and regulations Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills — written and verbal Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence others across functions Highly organized; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Plant process improvement experience is a plus Ability to travel less than 10% of the time Compensation & Benefits This company takes care of its people — and the package reflects it:Base Salary:
