Job Description

Fire Protection DesignerPosition Overview The Fire Protection Designer will be responsible for designing fire protection systems that ensure the safety of buildings and their occupants. This role involves collaborating with architects and engineers to create effective fire protection solutions that comply with relevant codes and standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign fire protection systems including fire alarms, sprinklers, and other safety equipment.

Collaborate with architects and engineers to integrate fire protection measures into building designs.

Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK.Conduct site visits to assess fire protection needs and ensure proper installation of systems.

Review and interpret building codes and regulations related to fire safety.

Provide support during the installation and testing of fire protection systems.

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.

NICET certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology is preferred.

Proficient in AutoCAD and AutoSPRINK software.

Strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards.

Experience with fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler design.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
