Job Description

Company Overview Quest is an international consulting firm in the Oklahoma City area that offers a wide range of services for addressing process safety and risk associated with hazardous materials. Our work includes risk analysis, consequence analysis, and other process hazards analysis studies for projects and facilities worldwide, often using our specialized software packages. This includes licensing of our vapor dispersion, fire, and explosion modeling software package to companies around the world. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Norman, OK, for a Fire Protection Engineer. The Fire Protection Engineer will be responsible for designing and evaluating fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with life safety codes, and conducting fire and safety risk assessments. Training in the areas of consequence analysis, process hazards analysis, and process safety will be provided. Job duties will include the use of Quest's consequence analysis software and other engineering tools. Domestic and international travel may be required. Most importantly, this role will involve building and managing the fire protection segment of the business. This requires an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to learn business management. In addition to the normal fire protection tasks this role will involve marketing, generating leads, conference presentations, and generating proposals. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering Proficiency in Fire Protection Engineering, Fire Suppression Systems, and Fire Safety Strong foundation in engineering principles Ability to interface with clients and communicate technical information both in writing and orally
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
