Kennametal Ready to turn classroom learning into real‑world experience? Kennametal's Bedford, PA manufacturing facility is seeking a Summer Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Intern to gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced metals manufacturing environment. The Bedford facility produces Earth Cutting Tools, including tungsten carbide and steel products used in mining, construction, and specialized engineering applications. What You'll Do Contribute to the EHS Site Standards Continuous Improvement Initiative Assist with machine guarding and minor servicing programs Support Emergency Action Plan updates Participate in industrial health monitoring (noise, dust, fume) Conduct risk assessments and evaluate job safety analyses Perform HAZCOM audits (labels, SDS management, training) Support environmental compliance activities, including Industrial Wastewater, NPDES, and Air Emissions recordkeeping Complete other EHS projects as assigned What You'll Gain Hands‑on experience in industrial EHS Exposure to real manufacturing and machining operations Mentorship from an experienced EHS professional A strong foundation for a career in EHS, engineering, or manufacturing Who We're Looking For Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in EHS, Engineering, or related field Proactive, self-motivated, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Kennametal Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
