Up to 15% Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to support the design and execution of complex commercial and industrial projects. This role involves designing fire protection systems, ensuring code compliance, and collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams on projects across the U.S. and internationally. Responsibilities Design fire sprinkler, suppression, fire alarm, and mass notification systems. Perform hydraulic calculations and life safety/code analyses. Ensure compliance with NFPA, ICC, IBC, and IFC standards. Review engineering drawings and technical documentation. Coordinate with cross-functional project teams. Provide technical guidance to design staff. Travel to project sites as needed (10-15%). Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Safety Technology, or a related field. 10+ years of Fire Protection Engineering experience. Experience with fire sprinkler, suppression, fire alarm, and fire pump systems. Proficiency with hydraulic calculation software. Strong knowledge of NFPA and International Building/Fire Codes. Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) license in any U.S. state (Fire Protection PE preferred). Experience leading engineering design projects. Work Authorization Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
