Job Description

Position Name We are looking for an experienced HSE&S Engineer to lead and enhance Health, Safety, Environment & Sustainability programs across our U.S. cross-dock operations. This role is primarily based in Ogden, UT , with support for sites in Indiana and Mississippi . As a key partner to operations, leadership, and logistics providers, you will drive risk reduction, compliance, and a strong safety culture across multiple locations.. In this role you will be responsible for Lead HSE&S program implementation across multi-site warehouse operations Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards Support and lead incident investigations , ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions Drive hazard identification, near-miss reporting , and proactive safety initiatives Oversee contractor safety performance and enforce site safety requirements Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives (energy, waste, emissions, water) Track, analyze, and report HSE&S KPIs and trends Support
ISO 14001 / ISO 45001
audits and regulatory inspections Lead emergency preparedness programs , drills, and response coordination Coach and influence leaders and employees to strengthen safety culture and behaviors Manage and follow up on workers' compensation claims Partner with operations to ensure alignment with HSE&S logistics standards What is required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field) Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance standards Experience with
ISO 14001 & ISO 45001
systems and audits Proven background in risk management, incident investigation, and operational safety Experience in logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments Proficiency in HSE reporting tools and Microsoft applications Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work across multi-site, cross-functional, and remote teams Commitment to safety excellence, ethics, and continuous improvement BATF&E knowledge is a plus We will be more than glad to chat with you about your experience and your career goals.
