Job Description:
Position Overview This EHSpositionoversees environmental health and safety initiatives within a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This role serves as the dedicated EHS partner for the facility's engineering projects, ensuring health and safety integration The successful candidate will champion a robust safety culture and drive continuous improvement across all EHS performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Support programs including: Design/Engineering - Review design documents Participate in project meetings Participate in PHAs Assist with the development and implementation of site RMP program Assist with the update and implementation of site PSM program Assist API implementation and compliance Assis with the implementation of NFPA standards
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field 5+ years of EHS experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of RMP, PSM, API, NFPA, EPA, and FDA regulations Strong understanding and familiarity with environmental regulations
