The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards and contribute to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. This position requires a strong understanding of quality management systems and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Duties Develop and implement quality control processes for supplier materials and components. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with
IATF 16949
2016 and
ISO 13485
standards. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken. Utilize Lean manufacturing principles to improve supplier performance and reduce waste. Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including risk assessments and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA). Support the assembly and fabrication processes by providing quality assurance guidance. Maintain accurate documentation of quality systems, inspection reports, and non-conformance reports. Provide training and support to suppliers on quality management practices. Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with
IATF 16949
2016, ISO 13485, Lean manufacturing, APQP, and other relevant quality standards. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in quality processes.
