Job Description

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related engineering field
Required Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum 4+ years of packaging engineering experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, etc.)
  • Experience with packaging design and packaging design verification/validation in a regulated environment
  • Experience conducting packaging testing in accordance with
ISO 11607
standards
  • Strong root cause analysis (RCA) experience related to packaging test failures
  • Supplier/vendor management experience
  • Previous project leadership experience
  • Previous equipment qualification experience
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills, including test protocols and reports
  • Ability to analyze test data and determine compliance with acceptance criteria
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
Job Duties:
  • Design, develop, and support packaging solutions for regulated products
  • Author engineering test protocols and packaging validation documentation
  • Coordinate with sourcing and external vendors to monitor testing activities, timelines, and deliverables
  • Review packaging test data and evaluate results against established success criteria
  • Conduct root cause analysis and support corrective actions for packaging test failures
  • Author packaging test reports and maintain project documentation
  • Support packaging verification and validation activities in compliance with
ISO 11607
requirements
  • Participate in equipment qualification activities and ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Lead and support packaging-related projects while managing timelines and deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate project status, risks, and resource needs
  • Work closely with suppliers, quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams to ensure successful project
