Job Title:
Supplier Quality Associate Job Description As a Supplier Quality Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our supplier data. You will align data from the Quality Management System (QMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to maintain a reliable Approved Supplier List (ASL). Responsibilities Align data from QMS and ERP systems for an accurate Approved Supplier List. Manage the Supplier Risk Assessment program to categorize the supplier base. Coordinate with internal departments for supplier risk assessment and classification. Support requalification of existing suppliers by collecting necessary forms and certifications. Manage and distribute supplier performance questionnaires and surveys. Contact suppliers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to solicit feedback and clarify responses. Serve as the primary contact for supplier inquiries regarding questionnaires. Maintain a master tracking log of supplier touchpoints, response rates, and actions. Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage and analyze large datasets. Perform VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs to match supplier data across spreadsheets. Build pivot tables to analyze response trends and identify escalation needs. Create visual dashboards and summary reports for management tracking. Essential Skills High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, or Quality Management. 3-5 years of experience in administrative and data entry roles. Proven communication and persistence skills, especially in collections or vendor relations. Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills. Ability to manage follow-ups with over 50 suppliers simultaneously. Possess a sense of urgency and problem-solving initiative. Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and work efficiently in a team environment. Project management skills with a focus on delivering results. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in supplier quality, vendor approval, and risk mitigation. Familiarity with medical device, pharma, biotech industries. Knowledge of QMS, ERP, and vendor qualification processes. Experience with Syteline, supplier questionnaires, and procurement. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and external vendor management. Work Environment You will be part of a global procurement team within a large bioprocessing company, working collaboratively to ensure supplier quality and compliance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Camarillo, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
