Job Title:
Production EngineerPosition SummaryWe are seeking a hands-on Production Engineer to support machine build, customization, testing, and shipment preparation activities. This role works closely with engineering to ensure equipment meets customer specifications and performance standards while contributing to continuous improvement and R D efforts.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare machines for shipment, including implementing customizations based on engineering designs and customer requirementsInstall and integrate machine components, including sensors, VFDs, HMIs, and PLC controllers (electrical, mechanical, and programming aspects)Validate machine performance and quality under the guidance of the engineering teamAssist with machine programming, debugging, and basic troubleshooting of electrical and control systemsWork with electrical systems across a range of voltages, including 110V, 220V, and 480VSupport engineering with research and development initiatives, including testing new designs and conceptsPerform machine shop operations such as drilling, milling, lathe work, and weldingIdentify and resolve issues during assembly and testing to ensure reliable machine performanceMaintain a safe and organized work environment, following all safety procedures and standardsQualificationsAssociate's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related) or equivalent hands-on experienceExperience with machine assembly, industrial equipment, or automation systems preferredBasic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and electrical controlsAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and engineering documentationFamiliarity with AC/DC circuits and industrial voltage systems (110V-480V)Experience with machine shop tools and fabrication processesStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively with engineering and production teamsPreferred SkillsExposure to PLC programming/troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)Experience with VFD setup and configurationWelding or fabrication experiencePrior experience in custom machine building or automation environmentsBenefitsCompetitive SalaryPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k)
