Job Description Summary Performing audio set up/take down and engineering duties for the ULV Communications/Digital Media Department productions. Specific Duties Ensure proper audio set-up & take down; run audio cables. Set record level into VTR. Monitor audio balance and proper program levels. Set up additional production lines for shoot. You are also responsible for other duties assigned by the Executive Producer and other responsibilities as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Must be a current University of La Verne student for the 24/25 academic year. Basic audio production skills Able to lift light to heavy objects Ability to work independently Good customer service attitude Hard worker Ability to learn quickly. Must be a current University of La Verne student Must have passed TV325 Class Preferred Qualifications Film/Radio/TV Equipment knowledge Beginning Radio/Film/TV/Multi-Media Classes Audio Mixing and TV325 Benefits Summary Employees are eligible for the following benefits: One hour of Paid Sick Leave for every 30 hours worked, with a maximum accrual of 24 hours of Paid Sick Leave per year and capped at 48 hours. University of La Verne Defined Contribution Retirement Plan - can contribute employee voluntary contributions, excluding wages derived from federal work study funds. In accordance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), employees who work an average of 30 or more hours per week, will be eligible for medical coverage through the University of La Verne.
