Engineering Report To:
Engineering Manager Responsibilities:
Focuses on line balancing, cycle time reduction, labor optimization, workstation design, and productivity improvement. Works on process setup, SMT/THT assembly optimization, tooling, fixtures, and production troubleshooting. Improves soldering, PCB assembly, testing, and manufacturing yield using SPC and Lean methods.
Lean / Continuous
Improvement Engineer Drives Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma, waste reduction, and operational excellence projects. NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineer Supports transferring new products from design to mass production and ensuring manufacturability. Handles capacity planning, takt time analysis, headcount planning, and factory utilization. Supply Chain / Planning Analyst Coordinates material flow, inventory optimization, and production scheduling. Focuses on defect reduction, root cause analysis, CAPA, IPC standards, and customer quality metrics.
Requirements:
Education/Qualification Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field Experience 3+ years in similar position 3+ years working in electronic manufacturing
Skills/Competencies Soft Skills:

Technical Skills:

systems AutoCAD or factory layout tools Data analysis & KPI tracking
Common KPIs:
UPH (Units Per Hour); OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness); FPY (First Pass Yield); Scrap rate; Cycle time; Labor efficiency Lean manufacturing Strong knowledge with production workflow
