Full-Time About TriFetch TriFetch builds AI agents for private practices and specialty clinics, automating workflows such as appointment scheduling, rescheduling, prior authorizations, and operational coordination. Their platform integrates directly into clinic environments and deploys customized AI solutions rapidly across healthcare workflows. The company currently has 4 live pilots, 10 clinics on the waitlist, and has raised $2M in pre-seed funding backed by healthcare AI operators — including a founder of Hippocratic AI. The team is highly technical, lean, and based in San Francisco. About the Role TriFetch is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to own end-to-end customer deployments for healthcare AI systems. This is an extremely high-agency, customer-facing engineering role where engineers directly manage implementation, debugging, deployment, and ongoing optimization inside clinical environments. The role combines production engineering, client communication, systems integration, healthcare operations understanding, and rapid iteration under live production pressure. What You'll Own Take clinics from sales handoff through complete production deployment Run onboarding and workflow discovery sessions with clinic operators Customize voice agents, OCR systems, and computer-use agents for each clinic environment Meet customers weekly during deployment cycles and iterate rapidly on workflows Debug live production issues on customer calls under time pressure Build modular production code enabling same-day deployments Own customer success outcomes directly tied to implementation quality Collaborate with clinicians and operational staff in high-stakes healthcare environments Data Protection & Security Handle PHI within HIPAA-compliant infrastructure Follow least-privilege access standards and store secrets securely in GCP Secret Manager Maintain encrypted devices and audit logging Complete HIPAA privacy and security training annually Follow all internal security and acceptable use policies Requirements Strong Python engineering skills Experience shipping production-ready systems Strong debugging ability in live production environments Extreme ownership mentality and high agency Excellent communication skills under pressure Comfortable speaking directly with clinicians and healthcare operators Strong engineering pedigree aligned with top-school founding team expectations Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate onsite Nice to Have Prior Forward Deployed Engineering experience Healthcare or healthtech integrations experience Cloud infrastructure experience Startup founder or founding engineer background Experience with voice AI, OCR systems, or computer-use agents Strong interpersonal or leadership indicators for junior candidates This Role Is NOT For Candidates with frequent job hopping or short recent tenures Low-agency enterprise engineering backgrounds Research-heavy ML backgrounds without production ownership Engineers with weak communication skills or inability to debug live under pressure Interview Process Screen with CEO Technical round with whiteboarding and system design Final vibe check One-day onsite trial Offer stage Logistics Role is fully onsite in San Francisco — please only apply if you can commit to this H-1B and O-1 visa sponsorship available Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by David Joseph & Co. , the recruiting partner managing this search on behalf of TriFetch.
