IMMEDIATE DIRECT HIRE CAREER OPPORTUNITY!

SALARY•$85k to $110k per year (Depending on Experience)

•San Joaquin County (cities to include; Stockton, Manteca, Ripon, Tracy etc.)

Job Duties:

Create prototypes, drafting packaging designs using CAD, and selecting appropriate materials to ensure product safety, shelf-life, and freshness. Conduct durability tests to ensure packaging withstands transportation, environmental factors, and handling. Develop eco-friendly (recyclable/non-plastic) materials and analyzing designs to reduce costs. Ensure all packaging meets food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards. Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and external vendors to align packaging with branding and operational needs. Select and managing packaging machinery, optimizing production lines, and resolving packaging issues during manufacturing. Analyze current packaging and implement improvements for better functionality and efficiency . Experience and knowledge of food safety and quality requirements as they relate to packaging (FDA, USDA, SQF, HACCP, GMP's, etc.). Minimum Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in Packaging Engineering or Packaging Development. Bachelor's Degree in Packaging, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field. 20% to 30% travel required
