We are seeking an experienced Manager, Production Engineering to lead our newly formed Production Engineering Group. In this role you will be leading production engineering, manufacturing engineering and quality engineering efforts. The role works closely with the manufacturing, materials and development teams.
What you will be doing:
Document process flows for all products Optimize process flows for all products Implement or enhance data collection systems Lead efforts to improve product quality Lead efforts for continued
ISO-9001
certification Interface with design engineering for New Product Introductions Interface with operations for NPI or other product line improvements Interface with vendors on various part or quality related issues Evaluate production and test issues to define root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions Occasional (10%) domestic travel to visit vendors What you need to be successful in this role: Technical bachelor's degree, EE or ME preferred Over five (5) years of experience in production engineering with a proven track record of reducing defects, resolving issues and improving production flow Over three (3) years in a supervisory, management, or leadership role Over five (5) years in lean tools (Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, Six-Sigma) Over five (5) years in ISO-9001 or similar quality system Strong understanding of electro-mechanical devices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and be internal customer-facing Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making Experience using Oracle or Oracle Fusion preferred Iteris anticipates paying a base salary between $140,300 and $156,200 for this role. Actual pay offered may be below or above these amounts, depending on the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. #
