job summary: Looking for a Process Engineer in Santa Clara, CA Join Our Client, a global tech leader! Bring your SEM/FIB expertise and troubleshooting skills to drive defect reduction. Help us create breakthroughs that advance the world's technology in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment!

Santa Clara, California job type: Contract salary: $43.00 - 51.06 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Design and execute Failure Analysis (FA) experiments and compile detailed reports to troubleshoot wafer defects and drive defect reduction across key R D programs and customer escalations.

Operate, align, and maintain critical metrology tools including Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) and Focused Ion Beams (FIB) to perform precision sample preparation, imaging, and EDS analysis.

Partner with engineering teams on wafer evaluations, interact with vendors to evaluate new metrology tools, and coordinate essential equipment repairs and supply orders.

Develop Best Known Method (BKM) procedures, generate comprehensive technical documentation, train junior engineers, and host internal knowledge-sharing forums to elevate team expertise.
