Process Engineer, Stockton, CA

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Process Engineer will be responsible for performance of manufacturing processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

General Responsibilities for Process Engineers Own performance of manufacturing processes in areas/lines of responsibility Ensure that the equipment in the plant is capable of making product to specification at the rate to meet the production schedule Develop and maintain standard work, standard operating procedures and programs for area of responsibility Lead definition of proactive maintenance requirements Support daily operational troubleshooting and problem solving Drive continuous improvement in area of responsibility, leading front line data collection and analysis activities and designing new production processes as necessary Manage cross-functional teams of resources in Engineering/Maintenance, Production Management, Production Supervision, Procurement, and Marketing to identify and implement improvement opportunities Support marketing and new product development in feasibility, costing, developing, and rolling out of new products to manufacturing in area of responsibility Act as a representative and supporter of the company to those under supervision Provide feedback/coaching to associates on how to improve performance and increase skills/responsibility Provide/oversee training to associates Ensure a safe working environment for associates

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree, engineering preferred 5 years engineering experience Cross-functional experience (operations, maintenance, materials, procurement, marketing, quality, etc) Has demonstrated ability to implement and maintain manufacturing process improvements and controls

Salary Range:
