We Are Looking For An Engineering Technician who will support the overall needs of the Engineering department. This individual will support engineering and production functions, including technical support and advising on building of tooling and fixtures and first article builds. This role requires a positive, high energy, detail-oriented team player who is willing to learn and execute tasks efficiently. Success in this role requires execution of process improvements, operational excellence and a commitment to delivering results at the site. What You ll Do Act as a key liaison between Engineering and Production teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment on project requirements and timelines Support Engineering in developing new build control plans, work instructions, process documentation, and other technical build packages Provide hands-on assistance on the production floor during first article builds Design and build production tooling and fixtures to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety Deliver technical support for cable casting and related manufacturing operations Create and modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD and oversee 3D printing operations, including machine maintenance Accurately read, interpret, and work from engineering-level mechanical drawings and specifications Participate in training and mentoring of production team members on new processes, tooling, and technical procedures Support Engineering on special projects and tasks as directed by Engineering leadership or management Collaborate across departments (Production & Quality) to drive continuous improvement and advance overall company objectives What You Bring High School diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access) Self-motivated with the flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. ITAR Requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements. This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ( ITAR ) and/or the Export Administration Regulations ( EAR ). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the
