Conformity of Production (COP) test program responsibilities: Acquire non-U.S. production vehicles from Stellantis manufacturing plants Create & submit vehicle buildup work-order in accordance with the specified certification configuration Create & submit test requests and review resulting data Monitor COP emissions test procedures executed by lab personnel Publish final test reports in internal corporate databases Coordinate vehicle shipment departure schedules with vehicle logistics team Provide international emissions witness testing support, as needed In addition to the responsibilities for the COP program, the selected candidate will serve in a supporting role for other tailpipe, EVAP or OBD test programs. This is an onsite position at Chelsea Proving Grounds in Chelsea, MI. Support onsite at the Chrysler Technology Center in Auburn Hills, MI may be required periodically. Qualifications Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive testing (with an emphasis on emissions or fuel economy testing) Demonstrated organizational/tracking skills. This position requires tracking multiple vehicles through a complex testing process Must have strong computer skills with a focus on data analysis (MS Excel and data processing/analysis tools) Knowledge of North American emissions regulations, testing and certification processes/procedures Ability to work onsite with non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit personnel in labs and garages Strong interpersonal skills required for interacting with powertrain and vehicle development teams Preferred Qualifications:
Hybrid and/or Electric vehicle testing experience Propulsion system calibration or aftertreatment system experience Experience with vehicle diagnostics and Controller Area Network (CAN) data collection Exposure to corporate software applications (test request/processing system, calibration tools & applications, etc.) Benefits Salaried Employee Benefits (US, Non-Represented) Health & Wellbeing Comprehensive coverages encompassing the Physical, Mental, Emotional, and overall Wellbeing of our employees, including short- and long-term disability.
