Full Job Description Job Summary Description:
Please have candidates answer the below questions on their resume: 1. Do you have experience in performing manufacturing process reviews to provide continuous improvement ideas? 2. Do you have experience reading and interpreting drawings to perform disposition of hardware non-conformities? 3. Do you have experience using Root cause corrective action tools to develop reductions in defects at manufacturing facilities? 4. Do you have experience in manufacturing operations of CCA, PWB, or avionics? You will report directly to our Quality Manager and youll work out of our Clearwater Fl. location. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact by leading supplier quality improvement initiatives, conducting supplier audits, and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions. You will also be responsible for evaluating supplier capabilities, monitoring supplier quality metrics, and providing technical guidance and support to suppliers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies.
  • Experience in conducting supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvement.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to disposition hardware.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers.
WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in leading supplier development initiatives and driving supplier performance improvement.
  • Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Pay:
