Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier performance, quality compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives for a valued client. This role is ideal for a quality-focused professional with strong supplier audit, root cause analysis, corrective action, and engineering drawing interpretation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with client quality standards. Conduct supplier audits to assess supplier capabilities and identify improvement opportunities. Drive root cause analysis and corrective action activities to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. Partner with suppliers to improve performance, strengthen quality processes, and support business objectives. Review and interpret engineering drawings to support hardware disposition and quality decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics. 6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role. Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices, tools, and methodologies. Experience conducting supplier audits and driving supplier performance improvement. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Strong project management, influencing, negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or a related field. Experience leading supplier development initiatives. Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies.
