Job Description

Company Description FHP Manufacturing, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a joint venture between Robert Bosch (BOSCH Group) and Carrier Corporation. FHP Manufacturing is a leader in the production of geothermal and water source heat pumps, providing some of the most efficient heating and cooling comfort solutions in the industry. Job Description Industrial Engineer with practical, hands-on experience supporting day-to-day production. Strong background in Lean manufacturing, process standardization, and continuous improvement. Proven ability to work directly on the production floor to design, implement, and optimize production processes, equipment, and workflows to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality.

Conduct time studies and workflow analysis to identify productivity opportunities. Optimize material flow and point-of-use systems. Reduce waste and inefficiencies in manual assembly processes. Systems & Process Improvement Design and implement visual management systems. Support layout improvements and workstation redesigns. Improve data collection methods to support operational decisions. Lean Manufacturing Leadership Lead and participate in Kaizen events. Use Value Stream Mapping to identify improvement opportunities. Apply root cause analysis tools to eliminate recurring issues. Support continuous improvement culture across departments. Project Ownership & Execution Develop clear action plans with defined timelines and deliverables. Deliver measurable improvements in productivity, efficiency, and process stability. Master new areas of responsibility quickly and drive execution. Modernization & Tool Implementation Identify opportunities to introduce better tools and process enhancements. Support evaluation and integration of new technologies and equipment. Assist with ROI analysis and implementation planning. Ensure smooth transition and operator adoption of new systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Ability to manage and execute multiple projects. Additional Information Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles. Experience improving manufacturing operations and process analysis.
