Orlando, FL V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring an Supplier Quality Engineer•onsite II for our premier client in Orlando, FL. Education and Experience » Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering and an emphasis on lean manufacturing and Quality Management Systems 3-5 years of supplier quality experience Experience working cross functionally with other teams. Experience with RCCA, Data Analysis, Reporting, Software experience Teamcenter, Syteline Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Experience interacting with cross functional teams including engineering, materials, logistics, sales & marketing Experience working with application and validation of welding procedures, preferred Demonstrated supplier management skills Project management experience or similar skill set Strong analytical and quantitative abilities. Proficient in Microsoft suite of tools. Experience executing data analytics using statistical software or MS Excel Effective two-way communication and executive presentation skills Business acumen Experience using various quality methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, 8-D, DFMEA, PPAP, etc. A typical day will look like this: Talk to team members on the floor regarding issues, check and respond to emails regarding issues on the floor. Data analysis to determine issues with suppliers, investigate and figure out how problem can be fixed. Look for a clear deviation Perform QM system updates Reporting

Participate in the Supplier Approval and Evaluation process Perform Supplier Evaluations, evaluate supplier capabilities, review supplier documents in support becoming, or continuity as, a GSE supplier Review and support Supplier Deviation process Work as a liaison between Engineering and Supplier to address specification and/or print questions Supplier performance KPIs, tracking, and continual improvement Corrective actions; internal and external Kaizen / Continual improvement projects / rework and scrap reduction.
