Pay Range:
$45/h- $50/h; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job description We are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Clearwater, FL. In this role, you will drive supplier quality improvement initiatives, conduct audits, and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions. You'll play a key role in evaluating supplier capabilities, monitoring performance metrics, and providing technical guidance to ensure compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead supplier quality improvement initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Conduct supplier audits to assess capabilities and identify areas for improvement. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues. Evaluate supplier capabilities and provide technical guidance to strengthen performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). 6+ years of experience in supplier quality engineering or a related role. Strong knowledge of quality engineering practices and methodologies. Experience conducting supplier audits and driving performance improvement. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to disposition hardware non-conformities. Strong project management, negotiation, and influencing skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field. Experience leading supplier development initiatives. Six Sigma certification or knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
