Our ambition is to transform meter data into insights that will help utilities optimize the production and distribution of clean water and energy. We are looking for a Production Engineer to become a part of a fast-growing global company. The Production Engineer is expected to improve production processes in our manufacturing facility. Working with all areas of operations and providing support and lead activities in process improvements. Keeping all equipment working as designed and adapting to new product production. As a person, you are service-minded, committed, and you are a natural at cooperating with others, as our job is to keep the production running. You pride yourself on good quality, you have a very structured approach to your work, and you have a good understanding of what excellent production quality is.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, manage, and oversee all elements of production in our manufacturing facility. Ensure all steps of production run smoothly and efficiently. Increase speed and efficiency of processes without compromising quality. Develop and draft an improved production process. Design and implement cost-reductive changes. Maximize productivity of machinery and employees. Diagnose origin of breakdowns and troubleshoot problems. Responsible for maintaining and repairing accredited equipment. Communicate with vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment needed. Create investment applications for larger projects.
PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCES AND EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant work experience required. Related work experience within a technical or GMP environment is preferred. Knowledge of basic engineering principles in various engineering disciplines. Ability to solve routine engineering problems with minimal assistance. Ability to work well with others but can also work independently. Detail oriented but also efficient in daily work. Ability to prioritize tasks.
