  • Job Description Position Summary The Warehousing Industrial Engineering Intern supports the analysis and improvement of warehouse operations.
This role provides hands-on experience in optimizing processes, improving productivity, and using data to drive operational decisions within a distribution environment. Key Responsibilities Assist in analyzing warehouse processes such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping Support time studies and data collection to evaluate labor productivity Help identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements Participate in continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) projects Assist with warehouse layout planning and slotting optimization Analyze operational data using Excel or other tools to track performance metrics Help create reports, dashboards, and visual presentations of key KPIs Support implementation of new processes, tools, or systems Work cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and leadership teams Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field Strong interest in warehousing, logistics, or operations Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables preferred) Analytical and problem-solving mindset Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Familiarity with Lean principles or continuous improvement concepts Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools Understanding of warehouse operations or supply chain fundamentals What You'll Gain Hands-on experience in warehouse operations and industrial engineering practices Exposure to real-world process improvement projects Data analysis and reporting skills development Experience working in a fast-paced logistics environment

Intern Hourly Rate:
An intern's hourly rate is based on the major/degree being pursued and the number of completed academic hours achieved before the start of the internship.
Intern Benefits:
