Position Summary:
The Engineering Assistant supports factory setup and production ramp-up by focusing on twocore areas: engineering execution support and operational standardization.

This role assists in coordinating equipment installation, production line setup, and trial runs,ensuring alignment between engineering plans and shopfloor execution. In parallel, it supportsthe development and implementation of structured systems such as SOPs and document controlto ensure processes are clearly defined, standardized, and consistently executed.

Acting as a bridge across Engineering, Production, and cross-functional teams, this positionplays a key role in enabling a controlled, efficient, and well-structured factory launch. Key Responsibilities : 1. Engineering Execution Support Support factory setup activities, including equipment installation, line setup, and commissioning coordination Assist in trial production (pilot runs), data collection, and process validation Document issues observed during setup and ramp-up, and support engineers in root cause analysis and resolution Assist in monitoring key ramp-up metrics such as yield, efficiency, and process stability 2. Standardization System & Documentation Support Translate technical documents, including SOPs, work instructions, and process standard (Chinese ↔ English) Standardize document formats, templates, and structures in line with company requirements Support the establishment of SOP systems, including document hierarchy, release, and version control Assist in developing and updating SOPs based on actual production conditions 3. Task Tracking & Execution Follow-up Maintain action item lists, trackers, and project follow-up logs Track progress of engineering, production, and cross-functional tasks Support preparation of meeting minutes, progress reports, and status updates 4. Cross-functional & Operational Support Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Supply Chain teams Support on-site bilingual communication between Chinese and U.S. teams Assist in training coordination and preparation of training materials Support audits, process checks, and production readiness activities Help ensure shopfloor operations align with engineering and quality requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred) Fluent in both Chinese and English (spoken and written), with the ability to support technical communication Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational capabilities Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Hands-on, proactive, and execution-focused, with strong follow-through ability Able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities Willing to work on-site and support shopfloor activities, with flexibility during critical project phases.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
