Job Description

Manufacturing engineering role focused on process improvement, time studies, work measurement, tooling, and shop floor support. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field 2 or more years of manufacturing engineering experience Manufacturing or distribution process experience Time study and work measurement experience Experience with quality improvement and efficiency initiatives Experience with tooling, tool design, manufacturing methods, and process improvement Technical writing experience Microsoft Office proficiency Ability to spend approximately 60% of time on the shop floor Ability to lift up to 10 lbs as needed Ability to work flexible hours to support manufacturing operations Preferred Skills Manufacturing engineering internship or academic project experience Incentive pay system experience CIPP experience Total preventative maintenance experience Facilities management experience Shop floor manufacturing experience Data analysis and reporting experience Responsibilities Support manufacturing and distribution operations Improve manufacturing quality, efficiency, and process performance Conduct time studies and work measurement analyses Support incentive pay systems, including Continuous Improvement Pay Plan processes Develop and improve manufacturing methods, tooling, tool design, and processes Participate in total preventative maintenance activities Support facilities management activities Document manufacturing processes and procedures Prepare technical documentation for process compliance Provide shop floor manufacturing support Analyze manufacturing data and prepare reports using Microsoft Office and related software Support operations through process troubleshooting and production issue resolution
