Job Description

Supplier Quality Engineer responsible for quality planning, supplier quality execution, metal fabrication commodity support, and issue resolution for new product programs. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology, or related discipline Manufacturing experience Working knowledge of quality planning methodology Metal fabrication experience Weld background Experience supporting new product programs Experience working with external suppliers Experience executing quality planning procedures Experience supporting experimental builds, containment, and issue resolution Preferred Skills 1+ year of experience working with metal fabrication suppliers 1+ year of supplier quality experience SAP experience Quality Plan Level experience Design Process and Assembly Review experience PPAP experience Experience supporting outsourced parts Experience supporting multiple commodities in a manufacturing environment Job Responsibilities Support large tractor new product programs Execute quality planning procedures related to the metal fabrication commodity Work with external metal fabrication suppliers on supplier quality activities Execute Quality Plan Level processes Support Design Process and Assembly Review activities Execute PPAP requirements for outsourced parts Support other commodities as needed Provide build support for experimental builds Work through containment activities for supplier and production issues Support issue resolution related to quality, supplier performance, and manufacturing readiness Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to support part quality and production requirements Use SAP as needed to support supplier quality and program activities
