Shift:
1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Minimal OT)
Job Overview:
Seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to support new product development programs focused on metal fabrication commodities for large tractor manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support supplier quality activities for new product development programs Work closely with metal fabrication suppliers to ensure quality compliance Execute Quality Plan Level (QPL), DPAR, and PPAP processes Support outsourced parts quality planning and validation activities Assist with containment, issue resolution, and experimental build support Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams Support additional commodity quality activities as needed Monitor and improve supplier quality performance
Required Skills:
Supplier quality or manufacturing experience Knowledge of quality planning methodologies Metal fabrication and welding background Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage changing priorities Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with metal fabrication suppliers Supplier quality engineering experience SAP experience PPAP, QPL, and DPAR process knowledge
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology, or related discipline preferred Equivalent relevant work experience considered
Work Experience:
Manufacturing environment experience required 1+ year supplier quality or supplier-facing experience preferred Metal fabrication industry experience preferred IND_
ENG Pay:
$40.00 - $43.00 per hour Application Question(s): Are you a US Citizen or Green Card Holder?
