Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a Process Engineer for a 1-year contract opportunity supporting advanced industrial and semiconductor manufacturing facility projects in Boise, ID. This role is ideal for a Chemical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with experience in process chemical systems, process piping, gas distribution, ultrapure water, wastewater, and related facility infrastructure. The Process Chemical Engineer will work in a hybrid environment with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary project team supporting complex tool installations, tenant improvements, and facility upgrades. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-impact engineering projects in a fast-paced technical environment while working with experienced leaders, clients, contractors, and equipment stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
Support the design and development of process chemical and mechanical systems for industrial and semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, equipment manufacturers, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams to define project requirements and design solutions. Produce construction documents for manufacturing tool installations, tenant improvements, retrofits, and facility infrastructure upgrades. Design and lay out wet and dry piping systems, process chemical piping, gas distribution systems, equipment layouts, and process mechanical systems. Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing, component selection, specification development, and utility requirement documentation. Provide construction-phase support, including RFIs, submittal reviews, field visits, site walks, and system integration assistance.
