Job Description:

An international industrial manufacturer in the Carpentersville, IL area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for maintaining and enhancing output of production equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. They also prefer candidates with Japanese company experience.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and repair automated production machinery Assist with installation of new line equipment Collaborate with production technicians and electricians to resolve equipment issues Engage with external vendor services for machine repairs when necessary Assist in the creation of equipment maintenance schedules Modify detailed layouts of equipment when necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing facilities Experience reading and creating mechanical drawings Experience with GD&T Experience with power/hand tools and measuring equipment like micrometers Prefer familiarity with CAD and programming languages like C++ Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with Microsoft Office Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc . has been one of the leading recruiting firms in North America when it comes to working with Japanese Businesses for more than 25 years.
