Responsibilities:
Creation of standard work, process design, establishing standard times for direct labor, line balancing and operator requirement on the shop floor Responsible for setting up time standards in the assembly line workstations based on MOST/MODAPTS/MTM or any similar standards Support in setting time standards for indirect labor on the shop floor Establish Value Added content and Non-Value Added work content. Ability to work on NVA and reduce NVA and improve process time, improve ergonomics & eliminate waste in the assembly line/ station Develop station by station layout and establish part presentation for each operation Establish material routing & line side stock presentation Logistics layout mapping, parts mapping, route mapping Volume Analysis, Part level consumption Analysis, Part Categorization Prepare and maintain documents - PFEP database and relevant documentation Engagement in Daily Management system Collaborate with members of the Customer team to identify gaps to achieve area metrics Drive Continuous Improvement activities related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, & Productivity Engage with safety dept, maintenance, tool room, or external vendors to support improvements Follow up on implemented solutions to confirm effectiveness Participate in kaizen events related to logistics as identified Provide logistics support in various stages of Build along with shop floor co-ordination Support Validation of Kitting logic (Time, BOM Consumption, Model Option) Support packaging requirements making changes as needed Manage kitting system and generate kit sheets
