Job Description

This is a travel-based role requiring the ability to move between various sites across the US to support system commissioning; candidates located in the Midwest are preferred, ideally within proximity to a major airport for ease of travel. Job Summary We are looking for an Electrical Engineer. You will install electrical parts for warehouse robots. You will work on big systems like smart conveyors and automated storage systems. Your job keeps our warehouse automation running safely and smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Install Parts :
Put together and wire electrical systems for robots.
Read Blueprints :
Look at electrical drawings to plan your work.
Test Systems :
Check the wiring to make sure everything functions right.
Fix Problems :
Find and repair electrical faults during setup.
Safety First :
Follow all safety rules and electrical codes.
Required Skills Wiring Expertise :
Good at routing cables and connecting control panels.
Blueprint Reading :
Ability to understand schematics and circuit diagrams.
Tool Usage :
Skilled with hand tools, meters, and testing gear.
Teamwork :
Able to work well with mechanical and software teams.
PLC Knowledge :
Work mostly with Siemens controllers. Help connect them with Allen-Bradley systems.
Network Setup :
Connect robots using industrial networks like PROFINET or EtherNet/IP .
System Testing :
Use PLC software to test signals and find electrical bugs during installation.
Education and Experience Degree :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
Experience :
2+ years of experience working with industrial machinery or robotics.

2 years (Preferred) installing parts and wire electrical systems for robots: 2 years (Preferred) hand tools, meters, and testing gear: 2 years (Preferred) PLC including
Siemens and Allen-Bradley :
2 years (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 75% (Preferred)
