Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of optimizing production processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards across our manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, support the integration of advanced manufacturing technologies, and contribute to the development of scalable, reliable processes that meet industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical engineering knowledge and industrial engineering skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment committed to excellence and innovation. Duties Develop, analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes for plastics injection molding, assembly lines, and fabrication operations using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo. Implement and troubleshoot automation systems involving robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC programming, and vision inspection systems to improve productivity and quality. Conduct root cause analysis on process deviations or defects, identifying corrective actions to prevent recurrence and ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
standards. Design schematics, mechanical layouts, and tooling specifications for new equipment or process modifications utilizing GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles. Lead projects involving factory layout planning, process flow improvements, and lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and increase throughput. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on industrial equipment selection, fabrication techniques, and tool design to support scalable manufacturing solutions. Perform factory experience assessments by analyzing process data, conducting time studies, and implementing continuous improvement strategies aligned with industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field; advanced certifications in process engineering or manufacturing preferred. Proven experience working within a manufacturing facility environment with hands-on knowledge of assembly lines, robotics integration, welding techniques, and fabrication processes. Experience with industrial equipment including CNC machines, vision inspection systems, tooling design, and schematics development. Skilled in project scheduling tools to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies such as Fishbone diagrams or 5 Whys; experience with Lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
Pay:
$81,142.12 - $95,000.00 per year
