Stamping Manufacturing Department Position Summary:
The Stamping Process Engineer will be responsible for all production control activities in Stamping, to include production patterns, schedules, volumes, and press schedules/plans to coincide with the Body Section. They can also be the main liaison for all Environmental and Safety related activity within the section along with managing the Fundamental Skills Training (FST) within the section and be the lead for specialized training such as overhead crane operations. In addition, the Stamping Process Engineer will be responsible for overall project management activity within the Stamping Production Section.
Outline of duties:
Support for Safety and Environmental initiatives, within the section Analytics, implementation, and review of all kaizen-related activity within the section Control all training for the FST activity along with training of specialized skills such as overhead crane operations, etc. Performs SWI audits and updates SWI as needed QMS lead Lead cost reduction activities Updating section boards Engineering Liaison Maintenance Liaison Process audits & reviews Data Analytics to support project related activities Responsible for overall project management activity within the Stamping Production Section All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications:
