Coatings Engineer Indianapolis, IN, United States | req29348 What you will enjoy doing• You will support troubleshoot production and process issues related to electroplated coatings In this role you will support customers by resolving technical, quality, and performance concerns Furthermore, you will drive quality improvements using data analysis and problem-solving tools Moreover, you will assist with process optimization and capacity/efficiency improvements You will participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions Additionally, you will support documentation, cross-team collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives What makes you great You possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, or related field preferred You demonstrate basic knowledge of materials, coatings, or surface engineering (electroplating a plus) Moreover, you will have strong data-driven problem-solving and analytical skills You are comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment Additionally, you communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Further, you must be proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in teamwork, independent work, and continuous improvement tools (Lean/Six Sigma a plus) Why you will love working with us Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company with 2025 sales of $34 billion.
